Once we have your brief, we come back with a sketch. You review it — if it's right, we paint. If it needs changes, we revise. Nothing goes onto the shoe until you've signed off on the design.

We send a detailed sketch of the full design for your review. You can ask for revisions — there's no limit on rounds and no extra charge. We only proceed once you're happy with what you see.

India: Yes. You can ship us your pair or drop it off. We'll confirm the address over WhatsApp once your commission brief is confirmed.

International: Yes, but you'll need to factor in international shipping costs both ways. Many international clients prefer to let us source a deadstock pair here in Delhi — it's often more cost-effective than shipping your own pair internationally. We'll advise you on the best option for your brief.

Typical turnaround from confirmed brief to dispatch:

• Standard commissions: 3–4 weeks
• Complex or multi-element designs: 4–6 weeks
• Rush commissions: Contact us — subject to studio availability

This doesn't include shipping time. We'll give you a specific timeline when we confirm your brief, and update you at each stage.

We never use replicas. If we source the pair for you, it will be a brand-new, unworn authentic sneaker. If you send us your own pair, we expect you to confirm it's authentic — we won't knowingly paint on a replica.

Yes. The studio paints on bags, wallets, watch straps, barware, and other leather goods. Same process — brief, sketch, sign-off, paint. See our Bespoke page for examples, or describe what you have in mind on WhatsApp.

Commission pricing depends on the complexity of the design and whether we source the pair or you send yours. Our painting work starts from ₹17,750 (~$210 USD) and goes up to ₹37,990 (~$460 USD) for complex, multi-element pieces.

The base pair cost (if we source it) is separate and depends on the silhouette. We'll give you a full quote — painting + pair if applicable — when we review your brief.

The studio is in Delhi. Our operating costs reflect that. Comparable studios in the US and UK typically charge 2× or more for equivalent craft quality — not because their work is better, but because their overheads are higher.

The quality is not a compromise. The same flexible paints, the same multi-layer application, the same sketch-first process. The Delhi studio just means the math works differently in your favour.

We take a deposit to confirm your commission slot and begin the sketch process. The remaining balance is due before the pair ships. We'll confirm the exact payment schedule when we review your brief on WhatsApp.

India: UPI, bank transfer, and all major cards via our Shopify checkout.

International: All major international cards and PayPal via our Shopify checkout. Prices are displayed in your local currency at checkout.

We've shipped to the US, UK, UAE, Australia, Canada, Turkey, Singapore, and more. International shipping is handled via tracked, insured courier. Delivery times and costs are calculated at checkout.

Exactly the same as a domestic commission — brief, sketch, approval, paint, ship. The only difference is the pair sourcing:

• We source a DS pair in Delhi — often the most cost-effective option for international clients, since you avoid international shipping costs both ways.
• You ship us your pair — you'll need to factor in shipping from your country to Delhi and back. We'll advise on the best courier to use.

The Send Your Shoe option (India only) is not available for international orders — international clients use one of the two options above.

Import duties and taxes vary by country and are the buyer's responsibility. We recommend checking your country's import regulations for goods from India before ordering. We declare the accurate value of all shipments — we don't under-declare.

If you have questions about what to expect for your country, message us on WhatsApp and we'll share what we know from previous orders to your region.

Everything happens over WhatsApp. We share the sketch there, take your feedback there, send progress updates there, and confirm dispatch there. You'll have a direct line to the studio — not a ticketing system, not a form. A real conversation.

We're based in Delhi (IST, UTC+5:30) and typically respond within a few hours during working hours.

• India: 3–5 business days via tracked courier
• International: 7–14 business days depending on destination and customs clearance

All shipments are tracked and insured. You'll receive a tracking number as soon as your pair is dispatched.

This is why the sketch sign-off process exists — you've approved the design before any paint touches the shoe. If the finished pair materially differs from the approved sketch due to a studio error, we will make it right. Contact us on WhatsApp within 48 hours of receiving the pair.

All pairs are packaged with care and shipped insured. If your pair arrives damaged in transit, photograph the packaging and the damage immediately and contact us on WhatsApp within 48 hours. We'll file the insurance claim and work with you on a resolution.

We use professional-grade flexible paints specifically designed for footwear — not standard acrylic. The paint is applied in multiple layers and sealed. It's built to be worn, not shelved.

The paint is water-resistant once cured and sealed — light rain and general wear won't damage it. We recommend avoiding prolonged submersion or machine washing. For leather pairs, treat them as you would any quality leather sneaker.

• Use a soft, damp cloth or brush for surface dirt
• Avoid harsh chemical cleaners directly on painted areas
• No machine washing — ever
• No soaking or prolonged exposure to water
• Store away from direct sunlight to preserve colour

Yes — if your pair sustains wear damage over time and needs a touch-up, contact us. Depending on the design complexity and the nature of the damage, we'll give you an honest assessment of what's possible and what it would cost. Message us on WhatsApp with photos.

Yes — gifting is one of the most common reasons people commission with us. Weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, achievements. The process is the same: brief, sketch, approval, paint. You just tell us who it's for and what would resonate with them.

Yes. We work with brands and companies on custom gifting — branded pairs, employee gifts, client appreciation pieces, event giveaways. Pricing for bulk orders is discussed separately based on quantity and design complexity.
